The D2E e-commerce project can help businesses to utilise information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a strategic business improvement tool.
The D2E project has assisted Darlington businesses to increase turnover and market share, introduce efficiencies, develop new ideas and increase customer and supplier satisfaction.
Eligible project activities include: developing online booking/charging systems, financial management systems, website design and development, ICT networking and updating of server information systems, supporting email infrastructure within the business and helping companies to become e-enabled to win public sector and other contracts.
Grant support of up to 45% (approximately £2,000-£3,000) is available towards consultancy and project implementation.
