Contract Register

The Council procures a wide range of goods and services and has a number of contracts in place to facilitate the management of the day-to-day purchasing of these goods and services.
A register of these contracts has been drawn up which contains brief details about each contract including:

  • Current contractor / provider
  • Start and end dates
  • Approximate value per annum
  • Who within the authority, is responsible for that contract.

In order to assist in the planning process for the re-tendering of contracts an alert system has been designed that readily identifies contracts coming up for renewal.

  • If the date is highlighted in Green the contract expires in 120 days of the current day and consideration needs to be given as to what options are available for the future provision of the contract.
  • If the date is highlighted in Amber the contract expires within 90 days of the current day and you should be at the point in the procurement process where a decision has been made about the way forward.
  • If the date is highlighted in Red then the contract has already expired and immediate action is needed.

The document is dynamic and will be updated regularly with any new or amended contract details
