Fair Share Trust - originally a joint initiative between the Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund (NOF) and now maintained by the Big Lottery Fund. The Fair Share Trust was set up to give funding to areas across the UK that were not receiving their fair share of lottery funding. Darlington is one of these areas and received £2,089,432. This money is committed to projects that aim to improve the quality of life of local people.
The County Durham Foundation administer this fund.
