What our clients have to say...
At the beginning of June, we held a promotional event at Joseph Pease Place. The site was excellent and perfect for our requirements, as it was able to accommodate one of our Silver Service vehicles.
The site is in an ideal location for catching the attention of local people, and we had a steady influx of people with lots of interest throughout the day. The service and care we received from the events team at the council was also fantastic, with members of staff showing genuine interest in our event, even coming down to see us on the day. This added a personal touch, which was greatly appreciated.
We would certainly recommend this site to any company for promotional purposes, and it is highly likely that we will return to Darlington in the future.
Sarah McTiernan, Customer Relations Executive, Leger Holidays
I have performed in Darlington Town Centre a few times now and have found the local shoppers and businesses very welcoming. The local people who pass by are made up of a wide mix of ages and backgrounds, many of whom are very enthusiastic about events going on the promotional area and stop to listen or pick up a leaflet. The town centre management team and Events Team are also very accommodating and professional; a pleasure to deal with.

We do a lot of off-site promotional events and I can say with confidence that we were extremely pleased with the response to our promotional display in the Pease Monument area. The central location within the town centre shopping area meant foot traffic was particularly high. This meant good enquiry levels resulting in tangible sales from the event.
Simon MacConachie, Chevrolet Brand Manager
In March 2010 we held a promotional event by Joseph Pease Monument and it was a real success.
With the main college nearby there is a good footfall of 16-18 year olds and on market days there is a totally different audience.
You can pick your days to reach your targeted audience for your business, we'll certainly be returning to Darlington.
Jazwinder Sandhu, Senior Local Marketing Manager, BSM
We promoted the launch of our Zumba classes at Joseph Pease Place. The day ran very smoothly and the council team were really helpful with the setting up of equipment.
The location was ideal to attract crowds and generate interest for our business.
