Kids & Co Childcare Services
Kids and Co Childcare service is operated by the Early Years Service within Darlington Borough Council's Children's Services Department.
The aim of the service is to provide high quality affordable and accessible early education and childcare.
The service is provided at a number of sites in Darlington.
Opening Times:
7.45 am – 6.00 pm Kids and Co Northwood
7.45 am – 6.00 pm Kids and Co Borough Road
All settings are open 51 weeks of the year excluding bank holidays.
Sessions can be purchased as:
Full Day
A.M. 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
P.M. 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm
Flexible sessions can be purchased by the hour depending on availability
Kids and Co aim to offer a high quality service to families which will enhance their lives. Staff are fully committed to ongoing training and development.
All settings work within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The service is regularly inspected by OfSTED and has recently received excellent reports.
All settings participate in the Darlington Pathways to Quality Scheme.

Kids & Co have recently moved from McNay Street Childrens Centre to the new Northwood Primary School. The service is maintaining its links with the Children's Centre.
Kids & Co at Northwood work in full partnership with Northwood Primary School. The nursery is registered for 91 children aged 0-11 years. The nursery provides Early Education Sessions.
Before, afterschool, and holiday care is also provided for children aged 5-11 years.

Kids and Co work in partnership with Borough Road Local Education Authority Nursery School. Sessions can be purchased to wrap around early education sessions Hourly sessions can also be purchased upon availability. Term time only contracts are also available.
The provision is registered with OfSTED for 90 children aged 0-8 years.
A Holiday Childcare Scheme is provided on site for children 2-8 years,this is very popular.
This setting has also achieved accreditation with the Darlington Pathways to Quality Scheme.

Kids and Co work in partnership with Darlington Community Learning Service and a number of other partners, providing flexi childcare in and around Darlington. Parents/carers access training courses while their children are cared for by Kids and Co staff on site.

Kids and co flexi childcare service creates a tailored onsite childcare provision to compliment you deliver training. Childrens individual needs are cared for following OFSTED and EYFS guidance.
