Cockerton Library

Since opening its doors in September 1970 Cockerton Library has become very much part of the local community. Situated on the outskirts of Darlington in the west end, it is easily accessible by local transport, car and on foot. We stock a full range of adult and children's fiction, non-fiction material including large print and books on tape for partially sighted readers as well as a CD music collection.

The Library is accessible to people with disabilities, and we are happy to give you any help you may need, disabled parking is available at the rear of the library.

Internet access is available;  the first half hour of access is free.

Activities and competitions for children are run during the holidays including the summer reading scheme.
