Hi, my name is Michelle Atkinson. I'm the Lead Transition Mentor Adviser at Darlington Borough Council.

My role within this organisation is to assist the learner with the transition from school to work-based learning, into their chosen apprenticeship.

Transition mentoring has the time, expertise and energy to support the learner, in order for them to succeed in their chosen apprenticeship.

Transition mentoring can introduce a variety of strategies to support the learner within their training.
