The Children's Trust Board
Darlington Children’s Trust Board is responsible for implementing the priorities in the Children and Young People's Plan and is the key governance and decision making body for children and young people’s services and the Children’s Trust arrangements in Darlington.
The Children’s Trust Board is responsible for recommending and implementing the overall vision, agreeing priorities and strategic direction, approving the development of new service provision and processes, identifying and aligning resources and monitoring the effectiveness of current work in improving the outcomes for children and young people.
The Board is chaired by Councillor Cyndi Hughes, Lead Member for Darlington Borough Council Children’s Services and the board membership includes senior officers from a range of local agencies who are able to take decisions and make commitments to service developments.
