David Essex as Captain Hook

David Essex Gets His Hook Into Civic Theatre Pantomime!!

Qdos Entertainment, producers of the Civic Theatre’s pantomime have announced that David Essex will star in the role of Captain Hook in the theatre’s spectacular Christmas show, Peter Pan.

David Essex is currently performing in the West End in All the Fun of the Fair and has recently completed a sell-out arena tour around the UK with The Osmonds and Leo Sayer. He will play opposite Darlington panto favourites, The Grumbleweeds who play Smee and Starkey, and replaces Dani Harmer who will no longer appear in the pantomime due to a change in her television schedule.
