Through the work of the Sponsorship Department, Darlington Borough Council strives to encourage businesses and organisations, in and around the town, to support its intention to enhance and enrich the lives of its residents, through partnership in local events, culture, and in the presentation of their surroundings.

By encouraging support of the Civic Theatre and events at the Arts Centre, South Park and in the town centre, we are able to bring an exciting mix of performance art to our residents and visitors.

Stressholme Golf Centre offers the opportunity for corporate entertaining in relaxed and picturesque surroundings, with an impressive clubhouse and top-class catering.

Sponsorship of the roundabouts allows us to show the town at its very best, with award-winning floral displays, and a partnership statement that shows that local businesses are working with Darlington Borough Council.
