Darlington Civic Theatre and Arts Centre
Terms and conditions
The management reserves the right:
To make alterations to the advertised cast and programme without being obliged to
refund monies or exchange tickets. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will
use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation once we have received the relevant authorisation from the Event Partner. We do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.
To provide alternative seats to those purchased of the same or greater value.
To not admit latecomers until an appropriate point in the performance, usually the
interval.
To refuse admission.
To alter or amend terms and conditions without prior notification.
It is your responsibility to:
Claim any discounts you may be entitled to at the time of booking, as they cannot be
applied retrospectively and are subject to availability. Only one discount is applicable per ticket. Some discounts may not be available online.
Collect your tickets EITHER before the day of the performance from any of our
venues OR on the day of the performance from the venue where the performance is taking place.
Check your tickets as soon as you receive them and notify us immediately if they are
incorrect.
General Terms
All tickets booked over the internet (online) are subject to a 50p per ticket booking
fee.
The information on this site is correct at the time of going online, but we reserve the
right to make any changes which circumstances may necessitate. To avoid
disappointment we suggest that you check details with the Box Office before leaving for an event.
In the event of any cancellation or rescheduling of an event the venue shall have no
further liability beyond the face value of the ticket purchased plus the relevant per ticket booking fee.
Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person or per credit/debit card.
We reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number without
prior notice to the customer.
We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen.
Tickets cannot be refunded. Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of
the same production at a charge if we have suitable notice and availability.
Use of photographic, sound recording and mobile communications equipment
is forbidden.
You are not permitted to take hot or alcoholic drinks in to the auditorium.
All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
Children and Babes in Arms. In the interest of other audience members the theatre
strongly advises that children under the age of three not be admitted to performances, unless the show is specifically aimed at children of that age range. Exceptions may be made for selected children’s performances and pantomime, however a ticket must be purchased for all children to comply with licensing regulations. Booster cushions are available for small children to enable them to have a better view.
