An excellent starting point for beginners, Introduction to Drawing may also appeal to experienced painting wishing to reacquaint themselves with some artistic principles. Working in pencil you will study outline and shape, going on to look at tone, texture, shading and shadow. In doing so, you will explore other techniques and mediums including line and wash, chalk and charcoal.
