The Darlington Sports Development Network is delivered bi-annually to clubs, coaches, volunteers and all other people interested in sport and physical activity.   The network is a great way of bringing together people from different backgrounds to develop sport and physical activity in Darlington.

Tuesday 20th November 2007

The latest Network was held on Tuesday 20th November 2007 at the Dolphin Centre.  The evening started with a short powerpoint presentation based on the 'first ever' Darlington Community Games, which was held at Eastbourne Sports Complex on Wednesday 25th July 2007.

The evening carried four main themes and attendees were put into small groups, attending four workshops based on Funding, Clubmark Accreditation, Inclusion in Sport and also Club Benefits Package introduced by Tees Valley Sport.  A thirty minute practical session was also delivered and was aimed at inclusion in sport and ways of progressing a session.
