The course is accompanied by an enthusiastic team of P.G.A. professionals under the guidance of Ralph Givens. Extensive tuition packages are available for all levels, including individual and group lessons, golf clinics and video analysis for the young aspiring Tiger Woods. Stressholme is proud to boast its official Golf Foundation, Starter Centre Status. This enables children of all ages a chance to develop their skills through a structured award scheme towards casual play and handicap competitions culminating in junior membership.
What will my tuition include?
Tuition from Ralph Givens
Ralph is recognised as an excellent teacher and has built this reputation over 24 years in Darlington. So why not improve your game with professional help. Whatever standard of golf you have already achieved there is always scope to increase enjoyment by enhancing your game further. Lessons can be arranged on an individual basis for 30-minutes duration or group sessions for one hour duration. All levels of ability are catered for and equipment can be provided for those wanting to 'give it a try'.
Tuition for juniors
Junior tuition is available on both an individual and group basis. Every encouragement is given and regular group coaching for boys and girls is organised. Equipment is provided for those who do not have their own.
Group coaching is also available for schools and youth organisations including links with junior/primary schools through the tri-golf scheme backed by the Golf Foundation.
Tuition for corporate and golf parties
Many companies now recognise the importance and benefit of team building and we can provide group tuition for your staff, tailor made to your requirements. For golf parties we can provide tuition and a golf clinic for your group prior to your round of golf.

Demo nights
Regular demo nights are held on the driving range by all the leading manufacturers to assist you in making the correct decisions, thereby improving your game.
Repairs
A comprehensive repair service is available with most repairs being completed on a 24-hour turn around. Re-gripping can usually be done whilst you wait.
