Terms of Reference

The General Licensing Committee exercises functions relating to Licensing and registration functions (as set out in Part B, Schedule 1 of the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities)(England)Regulations 2000 (No. 2853), as amended; other than those delegated to the Director of Place in accordance with the Officers Scheme of Delegation.

Licensing Act 2003 Committee performs its duties under the Licensing Act 2003; and Gambling Act 2005; by way of Licensing Sub-Committees, other than those delegated to the Director of Place in accordance with the Officers Scheme of Delegation.
