About This Councillor
I was elected to the Council on 7th May 1979 and was deputy Leader of the Council from 1991 until 2011 when I was appointed as Leader of the Council.
I was Mayor of Darlington in the Municipal Year 1999/2000.
I serve on the following Committees:
- Cabinet
- Human Resources Committee
- Human Resources Chief Officers Appointments Panel
- Appraisal Sub-Group
I also represent the Council on a number of outside bodies namely:
