I was elected to the Council on 8th May 1995 and am the Deputy Leader and the Council and am currently the Cabinet Member with the Efficiency and Resources Portfolio and serve on the following Committees:

- Human Resources Committee and a number of its Panels
- Appraisal Sub-Group
