Consultation forums provide an opportunity to raise awareness, involve and consult the general public and our partner organisations on the development of Council policy and new initiatives, with the aim of making local improvements in for example, the provision of transport and future of the town centre.
The following four consultation forums generally meet on a quarterly basis and are chaired by Cabinet Members with the relevant portfolios:
Environmental Forum
Planning Forum
Town Centre Forum
Transport Forum
The Minutes of all meetings and any recommendations made by the Forums are considered by Cabinet.
