I was elected to the Council at the Bye-Election for the North Road Ward held on 19th August 2004.

I am appointed to the following Committees:

• General Licensing/Licensing Act 2003 Committee
• Economy and Environment Scrutiny Committee as Vice Chair
• Standards Committee

I also represent the Council on  the Tees Valley Environmental Protection Group.
