About This Councillor
I was elected to the Council on 7th May 1981 and was Mayor of Darlington in the Municipal Year 2001/02 and Mayoress for Councillor Francis in 2004/05.

I continue with my role as an active Ward Councillor for the Central Ward of Darlington, undertaking regular ward surgeries.
Amongst other issues and events in the ward, I am also working with community workers to involve and encourage more residents/groups in the Ward to participate in the Central Partnership. In addition, I have been instrumental in gaining improvements to some of the open spaces in Central Ward.
