I was elected to the Council on 8th May 1995 and I am currently Deputy Mayor to the current Mayor of Darlington.

I am appointed to the following Committees:

• Economy and Environment Scrutiny Committee
• Neighbourhood Services Scrutiny Committee
• Darlington Transport Forum
• Town Centre Forum

I have also been nominated to represent the Council on a number of outside bodies, namely:

• The Northern Division of the National Society for Clean Air
• Darlington Community Carnival
• Financial Incentives Panel
