I was elected to the Council at the Borough Council Elections held on 3rd May, 2007, to represent the Hurworth Ward. I currently serve on the following Committees :-

• General Licensing Committee/Licensing Act 2003 Committee
• Economy and Environment Scrutiny Committee as Vice-Chair
• Darlington Environmental Forum
• Darlington Transport Forum

In addition, I have been nominated to represent the Council on the Tees Valley Environmental Protection Group.
