About This Councillor

I was first elected to the Council on 10th May 1976, although I had a break in service between May 1979 and December 1980.  I held the office of Mayor in the Municipal Year 1993/94.

I am appointed to the following Committees:

• Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee
• Resources Scrutiny Committee

I also represent the Council on a number of outside bodies, namely:

• North East Purchasing Organisation (NEPO)
• Darlington and Durham Racial Equality Council
