I was elected to the Council on 10th May 1999 and am currently the Council's Cabinet Member with the Adult Services Portfolio - pdf document. I also represent the Council on a number of outside bodies, namely:

Police Community Consultative Group
County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust - Board of Governors
Strategic Transport for Health Management Group

I continue with my role as an active Ward Councillor for the Haughton North Ward of Darlington, undertaking regular ward surgeries, held on the first Saturday of every month in the Mobile Library located in ASDA car park, dealing with general complaints and issues raised by individual residents. If you are unable to make the Ward Surgery contact either myself or Councillor Nutt by telephone or email and let us know your issues.
