Darlington's Twin Towns
In 1953 Darlington established links of friendship with its current twin towns of Amiens, France and Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
Today, Darlington Borough Council provides a "Clearing House" facility for businesses, groups and individuals who wish to establish relationships with the twin towns, with the assistance of the private body, the Darlington & District Town Twinning Association, who can be contacted via email: thomas.nutt@darlington.gov.uk
