Kids and Co Childcare service is operated by the Early Years Service within Darlington Borough Council's Children's Services Department.
The aim of the service is to provide high quality affordable and accessible early education and childcare.
The service is provided at a number of sites in Darlington.

- 8.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Kids and Co Town Hall
- 8.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Kids and Co North Road
- 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Kids and Co Borough Road
- 8.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Kids and Co Red Hall
All settings are open 51 weeks of the year excluding bank holidays.
Sessions can be purchased as:
- Full Day
- A.M. 8.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.
- P.M. 1.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m.
- Flexible sessions can be purchased by the hour depending on availability

The Nursery has been established since 1994 and has built up an excellent reputation. The nursery is registered with OfSTED for 49 children aged 0-8 years. The nursery also provides early education sessions There are a limited number of places for children 5-8 years during school holidays. The setting has recently achieved accreditation with Darlington Pathways to Quality Scheme which is an indication for parents that a high level of quality is provided.

Kids and Co at North Road is a purpose built day nursery working in partnership with Mcnay Street Children's Centre. Kids and Co share the building with SureStart Services who also offer a variety of services for families from the site.
The nursery was the first "Neighbourhood Nursery" to open in Darlington . The nursery is registered for 41 children aged 0-5 years. The nursery supports families enabling them to seek employment and training. The nursery also provides Early Education Sessions .
More recently the building has been designated a Children's Centre.

Kids and Co work in partnership with Borough Road Local Education Authority Nursery School. Sessions can be purchased to wrap around early education sessions Hourly sessions can also be purchased upon availability. Term time only contracts are also available.
The provision is registered with OfSTED for children aged 2-8 years.
A Holiday Childcare Scheme is provided on site for children 2-8 years,this is very popular.
This setting has also achieved accreditation with the Darlington Pathways to Quality Scheme.

Kids and Co at Red Hall was established in February 2006. It forms part of an outreach service from McNay Street Children's Centre.
Kids and Co at Red Hall works in full partnership with Red Hall Primary School.
Services provided include childcare wrapped around early education sessions.
Before, after school and holiday care is also provided for children aged 5 - 11 years.

Kids and Co work in partnership with Darlington Community Learning Service and a number of other partners, providing flexi childcare in and around Darlington. Parents/carers access training courses while their children are cared for by Kids and Co staff on site.
Kids and Co aim to offer a high quality service to families which will enhance their lives. Staff are fully committed to ongoing training and development.
All settings work within the day care national standards and Early Years Foundation Stage. The service is regularly inspected by OfSTED and has recently received excellent reports.
All settings participate in the Darlington Pathways to Quality Scheme.
