Timetable for application forms for school places

Primary

From 8th September 2008	Parent/carers need to complete a primary PSA.
14th November 2008	Closing date for primary PSA’s – to be returned to the Admissions Section.
16th January 2009	Closing date for receipt of late applications (e.g. families moving into the area).
March 2009	Parents/carers will be informed of the school at which their child has been offered a place at.
March 2009	Acceptance/refusal slip of offer should be returned within 7 working days of the date of the original offer letter to the Admissions Section, Town Hall.
May/June 2009	Appeal hearings.

From 8th September 2008	All Year 6 children resident in Darlington will be issued with a SSA and a Secondary Admissions Brochure.
24th October 2008	Closing date for SSA’s.
16th January 2009	Closing date for receipt of late applications (e.g. families moving into the area).
1st March 2009	Parents/carers will be informed of the school their child has been offered a place at. (Letters will be issued 2nd March due to 1st March being a Sunday).
March 2009	Acceptance/refusal slip of offer should be returned to the Admissions Section, Town Hall within 7 working days of the offer date.
May/June 2009	Appeal hearings.
