The Centre for Teaching and Learning is based at Red Hall Primary School. It provides a base for the Teaching and Learning Advisers who work in Darlington's primary, secondary and special schools.
Much of the work of the Teaching and Learning Advisers is in support of the national school improvement strategies. In the primary phase, we offer dedicated support for literacy, numeracy, primary modern foreign languages and behaviour. In the secondary phase, we offer dedicated support for English, mathematics, science, ICT, Behaviour, and Attendance.
The Centre has a range of literacy and numeracy resources to support all teachers in their work.
