Transition Support helps you in your transition from school to college or work-based learning in Darlington.

Who are we?

A team of Transition Advisers from:

• Carmel RC College
• Darlington College
• Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College 
• Work-based Learning (Darlington Borough Council)

What do we do?

• Help support you when leaving school
• Make 'transition' easier from school to post-16 destination
• Offer advice, guidance and 'mentoring'
• Someone there for you, a role model to tell you how it is
• Take you towards the next step

How can we help?

A Transition Adviser:

• offers support and listens
• talks to you as a friend
• gives you individual attention
• helps you become more confident
• helps you organise your time
• encourages you to think about life after school
• helps to keep you motivated to reach your goals
