A Service in partnership with Stockton Borough Council. The aim of the service is to support and challenge schools in using resources effectively and raising the achievement of pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
What do we do ?
Collect and analyse information on the performance of pupils with special educational needs and provide this to schools.
Support schools with the process of self-review, evaluation and planning for pupils with SEN.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of pupils with SEN across the Borough and how SEN resources are being used.
Challenge schools to improve against an agreed set of SEN standards, raise the attainment of SEN pupils and make the most effective use of resources.
Support schools by identifying and sharing effective practice and coordinating training to ensure the inclusion of all pupils.
