The Learning Support Service provides advice to schools in meeting the needs of children with additional education needs.

- Train Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
- Individual pupil assessments.
- Provide advice to schools on programmes of learning.
- Assessment, planning and monitoring.
- Support schools in raising achievements of pupils with additional educational needs.
