Welcome to the Children's Services pages about Visual Impairment in children and young people. As the Advisory Teacher for pupils with a visual impairment I am here to provide advice and support for families with a visually impaired child.
I undertake home visits to give advice and liaise with Early Years settings and schools to ensure appropriate training is provided for staff and that your child receives the right level of support to meet their needs.
There are many places from which to gain general information and I have tried to collect it together and put it on this site to assist you.
