Park Rangers
Looking after Darlington's thriving parks is a tough task, but one that the Parks and Countryside Team relishes.
The Rangers are there to help more people enjoy their nearby parks and nature reserves, equipping them with the tools they need to appreciate the outdoors.
Rangers regularly patrol their areas, talking to visitors, letting local people know who they are, and providing a point of contact for residents who are concerned about problems such as unlawful motorcycling, insensitive use of play equipment or mistreatment of wildlife. The Rangers Team is split into four areas and each area has been allocated parks in which the rangers control.
The four areas in which the rangers patrol are North East, South East, South West and North West. If you want to get in touch with the Park Ranger in your area, please contact 01325 383099.
