Land Owned by Darlington Borough Council

Darlington Borough Council currently owns approximately 1,415 hectares of land within the borough.  This includes:

• land and premises used for council services
   
• schools and playing fields
   
• parks, cemeteries, open spaces, etc.
    
• highways and verges
    
• council housing estates
    
• land or premises leased to private businesses
    
• allotments for rent
    
• land designated for future development
