Areas Controlled under the ‘Dogs in Pleasure Grounds and Open Spaces Byelaws 1992’
Dogs are prohibited under the above byelaws from entering the following areas:

Bushel Hill play area

South Park enclosed children’s play area

North Park enclosed children’s play area

Sadberge play area
-
Eastbourne Park enclosed sandpit area

Brinkburn Dene enclosed children’s play area

Drury Street and area between Salisbury Terrace and Hollyhurst Road
Dogs on Leads areas
Dogs must be kept on leads in the following areas:
- South Park – ornamental gardens, bowling green, pitch and putt areas
- North Lodge Park – ornamental gardens
- Hundens Park – bowling green
- Southend Avenue
- North Park – ornamental gardens
- Eastbourne Park – ornamental gardens and bowling green
- Brinkburn Dene – bowling greens and ornamental gardens
- Pierremont Tower – ornamental garden
Areas Controlled under the ‘Dog Bans in Cemeteries Byelaws 1993’
Dogs are prohibited under the above byelaws from entering the following areas (exceptions for people who are registered blind or people attending a funeral or memorial if dog is on a lead):
- East cemetery, Geneva Road
- North cemetery, North Road
- West cemetery, Carmel Road
