The soil sampling, water sampling and installation of the probeholes were carried out over three weeks, between Tuesday 7 October 2008 and Thursday 23 October 2008. This included the recreational land at Shearwater Avenue. We would like to thank all residents, landowners and owners/occupiers of the commercial premises within the site investigation area (as shown in the Information Pack [pdf document, 649k]) for their time and co-operation.
Gas monitoring will now be carried out at the site on nine occasions over a six month period. This is to commence on Friday 31 October 2008.
