19/05/08 - SOME of the Council’s refuse wagons have been rebranded with the Making Waste Work logo.
It is hoped that people across the Borough will see campaign’s distinctive colours and flower logo and will think about how they can make waste work in their everyday lives.
Nick Wallis, Darlington Council’s Cabinet Member for Sustainable Environment and Climate Change, said: “If we all make small changes we can make a real difference to climate change.
”Making Waste Work is about getting us all to think about what we throw away and how we can reduce, reuse and recycle our rubbish to avoid sending so much to landfill.”
