Darlington Borough Council will collect your rubbish on the same day of each week except on Bank Holidays when the normal collection day might change, details are published in the local media (including the Town Crier) and online.
Please make sure that all sacks are tied securely and place them on the Kerbside on the day of collection. Terraced houses should place their sacks in their back lane on the day of collection. Do not put sharp or dangerous items in your rubbish sacks.

We provide a chargeable service for bulky household waste, e.g. furniture, electrical appliances, fridges and freezers and must be pre-booked via Customer Services.
