A grant to support sustainability projects undertaken by voluntary, community and school groups in Darlington.
What is the Grant for?
The Local Agenda 21 Project Grant is designed to support projects which contribute to sustainability. Projects may, for example, minimise or recycle waste, create wildlife habitat, improve existing amenities or raise awareness about a sustainability issue.
Who is eligible to apply?
All voluntary and Community Groups, Parish Councils and Schools.
What level of Grant is available?
The maximum grant per application is £1000.
How are applications determined?
Applications are determined by a Steering Group reporting to the Darlington Environmental Forum. Priority will be given to applications which contribute to local sustainability, demonstrate value for money and are supported by some level of match funding including volunteer time.
