Events Subscription
MyDarlington+ allows you to subscribe to events that are happening within Darlington.
What does this mean?
If you have an MyDarlington+ account, you will have the option to sign up to categories of events. These events include:
You can sign up to as many, or as few categories as you want. When you are signed up, you will receive notifications of events in your MyDarlington+ profile, as well as to your email.
How to change your settings
Sign into your MyDarlington+ account and scroll down the page until you see the events tab.
You will see a link which says click here to edit the events you are subscribed to. Click on this link and you will be taken to the events selection page.
You can select and deselect which events you can view by clicking on the relevant event category
Once you have done this, go back to the main MyDarlington+ page (there is a link at the bottom of the events page). Your selected events will then appear on the page.
Events email
Your selected key events will also be emailed to you on a weekly basis.
You will see events for this week as well as events for the week after - with a link to the relevant web page.
This category contains information about events which are suitable for under-eleven's (and their parents!). The types of events include:
- Half term activities
- Arts and crafts
- Parent and toddler classes
This category contains information about events for young people between the ages of eleven and eighteen. The types of events include:
- Youth club information
- Summer holiday events
If you enjoy keeping fit (or just watching other people keep fit!) then this category will help you find out about key events in Darlington. The types of events include:
- Bike rides
- Races and triathlons
- Fitness classes
- Swimming pool closing times
If you subscribe to this category, you will receive information about a wide range of events which are happening in Darlington! The types of events include:
- Fairs and Carnivals
- Business events coordinated by Darlington Borough Council
- Exhibitions
Darlington has a very proud tradition as a Market Town and has a wide selection of local shops and markets to choose from.
Subscribing to this category will mean you will receive information about events such as:
- Craft Fair
- Farmer's Market
- French and Continental Markets
- Christingle Market
- Information about shopping promotions
Subscribing to this category means you will receive information about Arts Centre and Civic Theatre events. This includes:
- Drama
- Comedy shows
- Musical performances
- Film showings
