Forensics workshop

18/07/08 - PSYCHOLIGICAL profiles and murder scene investigations are the focus of a special workshop being held in Darlington’s Crown Street Library on Saturday July 19.Led by forensic artist and ex police officer Norman Kirtlan, the workshop is part of the library’s ‘Cause of death? An Introduction to Forensics’ programme. The workshop was held earlier this year and is being repeated to meet demand for places.Forensic art includes techniques used by police in identification, apprehension and conviction of suspects and involves disciplines such as three-dimensional and two-dimensional facial reconstruction, post mortem sketches, computer enhances reconstructions and age progression.  The workshop takes place from 1pm to 3pm and costs £3.
