Abbey Infant School’s describes pupils’ excellent academic and personal development, “exceptional leadership” and “exemplary contribution of the governing body”.
The report says “pupils benefit from a rich range of experiences” and describe the school as “very inclusive”.
The inspector noted that a high proportion of parents have “total confidence” in the school, which maintains outstanding achievements by sustaining high standards.
The report also said: “Pupils’ high standards and achievement result from a most effective combination of excellent teaching and a rich curriculum."
And added that the pupils’ “… cheery outlook, respect for each other, confidence, and politeness towards adults all reflect how well the school helps to promote their social and emotional development.”
Head teacher Elaine McCue, said: “We are delighted with the report, we are successful because it is a team effort and every single person in school plays their part and works extremely hard.”
