Darlington Council’s Business Engagement Team is developing the on-line database, which will give brief descriptions of businesses, to help them to promote themselves, to encourage local businesses to trade with each other and to help people identify suppliers.
The directory will go live towards the end of July and will be accessible from the business pages of the Darlington Borough Council website at www.darlington.gov.uk/business
Directory listings are available to all businesses, irrespective of size or sector, whether they operate from commercial premises or are home-based, as long as they are in Darlington.

E-Newsletter – Interface
A free regular e-newsletter which contains information on business support; tourism and a dedicated town centre section is produced by Darlington Council’s Business Engagement Team, called Interface. Interface business newsletter is now in its ninth year and has always been produced as a printed newsletter. The next edition will be published in electronic format. The new format is environmentally friendly, timely, efficient and an effective way to communicate with Darlington businesses. It contains general news, events, information, business news and contact details.
