Winning Band Takes To The Stage

26/06/08 - THE winners of the rE-view Battle of the Bands, organised by the Council’s Youth Service, will be performing at the Community Carnival this weekend.

The Hornosexuals will headline the Newblood stage in Stanhope Park on Saturday, which will be open from noon until 5pm.

Other bands performing include Epic, Nash, Apex, Syndicate Theory, Syke and 2 Many Units.

Young people in the town voted The Hornosexuals their favourite act in the recent Battle of the Bands competition, run by the rE-view project.

RE-view gives young people the chance to have their say on-line on any subject they want.

The project is currently looking for people to join its Gamers’ Team.
