The 'ask a question' search facility used by the Council is a piece of software called FlexAnswer.
FlexAnswer is a highly intelligent question answering system that assists the Council in providing fast and accurate responses to customer questions.
FlexAnswer allows customers to type, in plain English, a question regarding any aspect of the Council's services. FlexAnswer will either provide an automatic answer immediately, or store the question and inform a customer service representative that a question is pending.
FlexAnswer also allows customers to request an answer to their question by e-mail.
