The eServices system allows you to access your council tax balance, housing rent balance and view planning applications in your local area.
Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for payments to appear on your eServices account once they have been received by the Council.

Please read the information below for guidance on what you need to do in order to register with eServices so that you can access the range of online functions.
To register for eServices, you will need to have the following information at hand;
- Your Email Address
- Password (to be created by you during the registration process)
- Your Date of birth
- Telephone number (optional)
- Mobile phone number (optional)
- Your address including your post code
Please note: The registration process involves some manual checks to verify that you are registered at the address that you have provided. You need to be registered on one of the following systems for your account to be activated;
- Electoral Role: Your name should appear on the electoral role at the address that you have provided.
- Council tax System: Your name should be the first name listed on your council tax bill, and the address that you provide during registration must match the address on the Council Tax system.
Registration can take up to two working days to process because of the manual checks that need to be completed. We will contact you by email if we cannot approve your registration request.
Before you try to access your Council Tax balance, make sure that you have your council tax reference number at hand. You must also ensure that your name appears first on the Council Tax bill otherwise you will not be able to access your balance.
In order to access your Council Tax Balance, you need to do the following;
- You first need to register with eServices and then log into your eServices account
- Follow the link to "Check Your Council Tax Balance"
- Enter your Council Tax number as instructed.
- Ensure that your address is correctly listed.
- Press the subscribe button.
Once you have completed this part of the process, we need to carry out a manual check to confirm that you are recorded at that address on the Council Tax system. This takes up to two working days to complete. We will contact you by email if we cannot approve your registration request.

- Ensure that your address is correctly listed.
- Press the subscribe button.
