Members of Unison and Unite are taking industrial action on Wednesday July 16 and Thursday July 17. While every effort has been taken to minimise disruption, some services will be affected. Residents are asked to be patient as we work to get normal services restored as quickly as possible.

Refuse Collection

There has been no refuse or recycling collections on Wednesday and this is likely to be the case on Thursday.
If your rubbish and recycling are collected on a Wednesday or Thursday, please put it out as normal. However, if it is not collected please take it back in at the end of the day and keep it until next week’s collections - in a week's time for refuse and two weeks for recycling.
All collections return to normal on Friday July 18.
Extra containers can be used for recycling which builds up over the next fortnight and  residents are urged not to put glass, which they would normally recycle, into their normal bin bags.

Customer Contact Centre

The Customer Contact Centre, next to the Town Hall, will be closed but staff will be answering calls from residents. However, staffing levels may mean there is a delay in answering calls.

The Town Hall reception will be open as usual.
