Access to Your Records

If you have received any help and support from Adult Social Care, we will have your details on record, such as what support you required and when you received it.

At any time, you are free to ask to see your records under the Data Protection Act 1998. This is a law which has been introduced to protect any information held about you no matter:

  • why it is held
  • what the purpose of holding it is
  • who holds it

For more information or to request access to your records, contact the Corporate Information Governance Officer on 01325 388905 or visit the Council's Information Rights website

You can also view the Access to your Records leaflet (Text version, Rich text document or Print version, PDF document)
