Support is available for people who wish to remain in their own home but need some help with gardening.


Garden Tidy Scheme

A garden tidy scheme is available for Council tenants. If you are of pensionable age or registered disabled and have no other able-bodied people living in your property you could be eligible for this scheme.

Groundwork North East

This service is available to owner occupiers and tenants who are unable to do their gardening, due to disability, long-term ill health or if they are over 55. There may be a charge for this service.
