The Information For All DVD has been produced to give a simple guide to a variety of services that may be of use to people who live in Darlington.
It is available in British Sign Language with voiceovers in English, Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Punjabi and Urdu and with English subtitles.
Some of the information covered in the DVD includes:
- Council services
- Leisure, Community, Housing, Education, Social Care, Planning and Environmental
- Health services
- Doctors surgeries, dentists and pharmacies
- Hospital services
- Services specifically for people with mental health and learning disabilities
- The Police
- The Fire Service
- Local voluntary services for disabled people
Watching the DVD Online
The online version is available in the same languages as the DVD and has the same content.

Obtaining a DVD
Around 1,000 copies of the DVD are available on loan for members of the public at Council offices, Crown Street and Cockerton Libraries, Central House Reception on Gladstone Street, the Town Hall reception and from other agencies involved in the project.
